其實昨天康熙的重點好像比較放在聊庹宗康的關島婚禮和最後的那位工作人員求婚(很感人),但總之,剩男剩女其實就是Single(單身)的意思.
有時候英文用Spinster指還沒結婚的女子, 還有口語 women on the shelf (留在書架上) 也是用來形容該結婚而還沒結婚的女生.
Ex: Many parents in China were worried about their daughters would never find a husband, that they’d be left on the shelf. 中國很多父母都很擔心自己的女兒找不到老公,變成剩女.
